Welcome to the sport of Bowls

Since our first game in 1952 we have been providing a welcome and friendly introduction to first time and experienced bowlers.

Membership allows players to participate in our social games on Wednesdays and Saturdays for men and ladies, plus the opportunity for competitive bowling in the Zone 9 Pennants and State competitions. Members also have the opportunity to enter other club’s carnivals and open events. In addition we have Ladies day on Thursdays and roll up bowling on Fridays where members arrange their own games. The greens are available for practice at all times.

Annual membership fees are $ 229.50 for men and $222 for ladies but new members receive 50% off their first year’s fees. Green fees are $12 a game. For new members we provide free coaching and use of club bowls. To get started all you need are a pair of flat soled shoes and a hat.

 Come and visit us, watch a game or two and discuss your bowling plans. Perhaps have an introductory lesson. Remember there is no obligation to join until you are confident that you want to take part in a great sport.
